print(r.json())Overview
Companies file an 8-K within four business days of a material event: a merger agreement, an earnings release, a CEO departure, an auditor change, a cyber incident. The 8-K Events API classifies every 8-K by the items it reports, using the item list in the EDGAR header of each filing.
Ask for one item across the market (item=5.02), one company's history (cik), or add text=true to receive the item's text cut out of the filing. Dedicated feeds cover the most watched items.
