Investment advisers register with the SEC or the states on Form ADV. The SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure service publishes firm registrations, offices, filing history and Part 2 brochures, and the individual representatives who work there.
The Form ADV API searches firms and individuals by name or CRD number and returns the records as clean JSON, with nested strings decoded.
