curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $SECFEED_KEY" \ "https://secfeedapi.com/v1/ingestion-log?date=2026-10-09"
import os, requests
r = requests.get(
"https://secfeedapi.com/v1/ingestion-log",
params={'date': '2026-10-09'},
headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['SECFEED_KEY']}"},
)
print(r.json())Overview
The ingestion log answers a simple question that is surprisingly hard to get from EDGAR: what was filed on a given day, and how much of each form type? Pass a date and get the total plus a count for every form type, from Form 4 and 424B2 down to the rare ones.
Use it to check that your own pipeline did not miss filings, to watch seasonality (10-K season, 13F deadlines, proxy season) or to see at a glance which forms dominate a day.
What you get
Built for developers who would rather not parse EDGAR.
Counts for all forms filed that day, sorted by volume.
Pass date=YYYY-MM-DD for any business day in the index since 1993.
Compare the counts with what you stored to find gaps.
Endpoints
Authenticate with Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY. Responses are JSON.

FAQ
Which dates are available?
Any day in the filing index, which goes back to 1993. Weekends and SEC holidays return no filings.
Are amendments counted separately?
Yes. Each form string is counted as filed, so 8-K and 8-K/A appear as separate keys.
