Form F-1 is the IPO registration statement for foreign private issuers, the equivalent of the S-1 that US companies file. It carries the prospectus: business, risk factors, financial statements (often under IFRS) and the use of proceeds.
Amendments (F-1/A) follow as the SEC comments and the price range is set. The final prospectus arrives as a 424B4 after pricing.
