MCP setup
Connect SecFeed to Claude Code
Claude Code supports remote MCP servers over HTTP natively, so one command adds SecFeed to every session in a project or to your user account.
Tested end to end with this exact configuration.
You need a SecFeed API key: create one free, then replace YOUR_KEY below.
1. Add the server
Run this in your project folder. Use -s user instead of the default to make SecFeed available in every project.
bash
claude mcp add --transport http secfeed https://secfeedapi.com/mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"
2. Check the connection
The server should show as connected.
bash
claude mcp list # secfeed: https://secfeedapi.com/mcp (HTTP) - ✔ Connected
3. Ask a question
Start claude and ask in plain English. Claude picks the SecFeed tools it needs.
