XBRL frames answer cross sectional questions: what did every company report for one concept in one period? /v1/xbrl/frames returns one value per company, so a screen across thousands of filers is a single API call.
Total assets at the end of 2025
The period CY2025Q4I means calendar 2025, fourth quarter, instant: balance sheet values as of the end of that quarter. Companies with other fiscal year ends are aligned to the closest calendar period.

Use unit for non dollar concepts, for example USD-per-shares for EPS or shares for share counts.
Each data point
accn is the accession number of the filing the value came from, cik and entityName identify the filer, loc is the filer's location, end is the period end date and val the value in the unit of the frame.
A concept over time for one company
The companion endpoint /v1/xbrl/company-concept?ticker=AAPL&concept=Revenues returns one concept for one company across every filing, which is ideal for time series charts. /v1/xbrl/company-facts returns every concept a company has ever reported.
