The SEC flags enforcement actions involving accountants, auditors and financial reporting as Accounting and Auditing Enforcement Releases (AAERs). They are the standard dataset for academic research on accounting fraud and misstatements.

The AAER API returns each release with its AAER number, date, respondents and order documents.
