)
print(r.json())Overview
The corporate governance section of a proxy answers the same questions every year: how many directors are independent, who chairs the board, which committees meet and how often, who attended, how many other boards each director sits on, and which committee oversees which risk. Every company writes it in its own layout.
The Board Oversight API returns those answers as fields. Filter the whole market for combined CEO and chair roles with data.leadership.structure=combined_ceo_chair, or pull one company's committees and risk map by ticker.

FAQ
How far back does it go?
These datasets launched in October 2026 and are being filled newest first, starting with filings from 2020 onward. The live counter on this page shows what is loaded today. Older years are added after that.
How is the data produced?
Each record is extracted from the filing text by an AI model and validated against a fixed schema before it is published; see our AI Disclosure. A value the filing does not state is returned as null, never guessed.
Does it list every director?
Not by itself. Use the Board of Directors API for the full roster with pay, and this API for structure, committees and oversight.
