The proxy statement lists every director with a Director Compensation table and biographies. The Directors API reads both and returns one row per board member: total compensation, cash fees earned, and where the proxy states them, age and the year they joined the board.
Use it to map board composition, tenure and pay across companies, or to join directors to their Form 4 trades by name.

FAQ
Why is age missing for some directors?
Age and director since come from the biographies; when a proxy does not state them in a parseable way, the fields are omitted.
Are employee directors included?
Usually not: employee directors such as the CEO are paid as executives and often excluded from the Director Compensation table.
