Eligible Canadian companies can meet their US annual reporting duty with Form 40-F, which wraps the annual disclosure they already prepare for Canadian regulators. It is part of the multijurisdictional disclosure system (MJDS) between the US and Canada.
Banks, miners and energy companies listed in both countries are the usual filers.
