Form N-CR is the money market fund equivalent of an 8-K. A fund files it when a reportable event occurs, such as a default by a portfolio issuer, financial support from the sponsor, a liquidity fee or a deviation of its market based net asset value.
The filings are rare, which is the point. Each one marks a moment of stress in a money market fund.
