Credit rating agencies registered with the SEC as nationally recognized statistical rating organizations (NRSROs) file Form NRSRO and its exhibits. Each year they certify that their information is accurate, and they update the form when it changes.
The exhibits include ratings performance statistics, methodologies, organizational structure, conflicts of interest and the largest users of their ratings, a small but important dataset for anyone who relies on ratings.
Credit rating agencies registered as NRSROs under Section 15E of the Exchange Act.
Annual certification within 90 days after the end of each calendar year, and updates promptly when information becomes materially inaccurate.
