Once a stock deal is announced, the companies must file their written communications about it under Rule 425: the announcement, investor presentations, employee letters, even social media posts. The filer can be either side of the deal.
Searching 425s for a company is a quick way to follow everything said about its merger.
Query syntax
Fields: formType, ticker, cik, companyName, filedAt, accessionNo, items (8-K item numbers), sic, state, periodOfReport. Join terms with AND, OR and NOT and group them with parentheses.
