Insider Buying Tracker
See the latest open market purchases by company officers, directors and 10% owners, the stocks where several insiders are buying at once, and any ticker's insider buys and sales from the last 12 months.
Why insider buying matters
Insiders sell for many reasons: taxes, diversification, a house. They usually buy for one: they expect the stock to go up. That is why open market purchases (transaction code P on Form 4) get more attention than sales, especially when several insiders buy the same stock around the same time, known as a cluster buy.
Where the data comes from
Officers, directors and 10% owners must report trades in their company's stock on SEC Form 4 within two business days. This tracker reads those filings. It shows open market buys (P) and sales (S) only, not option exercises, grants or gifts, and links every trade to the original filing.
What the 10b5-1 column means
A trade made under a Rule 10b5-1 plan was scheduled in advance, so it says less about what the insider thinks today. Since April 2023 Form 4 has a checkbox for these trades. Unplanned buys are the stronger signal.
