print(r.json())What is 13F-HR?
Section 13(f) of the Exchange Act requires institutional investment managers with discretion over $100 million or more in 13(f) securities, mostly US listed stocks, ETFs and listed options, to report their holdings every quarter. Hedge funds, mutual fund families, banks, insurers and pension managers all file 13F-HR.
Each report has a cover page and an information table with one row per position. Since 2013 the table is XML, which SecFeed loads into rows you can query by manager, by CUSIP or by period. Since January 2023 values are reported in dollars, not thousands.
Institutional investment managers exercising investment discretion over $100 million or more in Section 13(f) securities.
