Connect SecFeed to Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop starts local MCP servers from its config file. The small mcp-remote bridge connects it to SecFeed's HTTP endpoint and passes your API key as a header. It needs Node.js 18 or newer.

Tested end to end with this exact configuration.

You need a SecFeed API key: create one free, then replace YOUR_KEY below.

1. Open the config file

In Claude Desktop, open Settings, then Developer, then Edit Config. The file is claude_desktop_config.json.

2. Add SecFeed

Add this block (merge it into mcpServers if you already have other servers), then restart Claude Desktop.

        "--header",
        "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"
      ]
    }
  }
}

3. Ask a question

The SecFeed tools appear under the tools icon in a new chat.
