MCP setup
Connect SecFeed to Windsurf
Windsurf's Cascade agent reads MCP servers from ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json. Remote servers use serverUrl.
Uses the client's documented remote MCP configuration. Tell us at support@secfeedapi.com if anything has changed.
You need a SecFeed API key: create one free, then replace YOUR_KEY below.
1. Add SecFeed to mcp_config.json
Or open Windsurf Settings, then Cascade, then MCP servers, and edit the raw config.
json
{
"mcpServers": {
"secfeed": {
"serverUrl": "https://secfeedapi.com/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_KEY"
}
}
}
}2. Refresh
Press refresh in the MCP panel; SecFeed's tools appear under the server.
3. Ask Cascade
Use it like any other tool.
