When a US public company announces its quarterly or annual results, it furnishes the earnings release on Form 8-K under Item 2.02, Results of Operations and Financial Condition. The release itself is usually attached as Exhibit 99.1, often with the slides or the supplemental financial tables.
These filings are a subset of all 8-Ks, so the yearly counts on this page show every 8-K. Non-GAAP measures in the release must follow Regulation G and Item 10(e) of Regulation S-K.
