MCP setup
Connect SecFeed to Any MCP client
SecFeed is a standard MCP server over streamable HTTP. If your client can add a remote server with a custom header, it works.
Uses the client's documented remote MCP configuration. Tell us at support@secfeedapi.com if anything has changed.
You need a SecFeed API key: create one free, then replace YOUR_KEY below.
1. Connection details
Use these values in your client.
text
URL: https://secfeedapi.com/mcp Transport: streamable HTTP (JSON responses, POST only) Auth: header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY Protocol: 2025-06-18 (older versions are accepted)
2. Try it with curl
Each request is plain JSON-RPC. tools/list returns all 26 tools.
bash
curl -s https://secfeedapi.com/mcp -H "Authorization: Bearer $SECFEED_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'3. Client only runs local servers?
Use the mcp-remote bridge, the same way as Claude Desktop: npx -y mcp-remote https://secfeedapi.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY".
What you can ask
See the prompt library and the 26 tools.
