What is U-12-IA?

Section 12(i) of PUHCA required persons employed or retained by registered holding companies to file statements when they presented, advocated or opposed matters affecting the system before Congress, the SEC or the Federal Power Commission. EDGAR titles U-12-IA "Statement by holding company employee [Section 12(i)]".

These statements are an early form of lobbying disclosure for utility groups, and end with PUHCA's repeal.
