Schedule 13E-4 was the issuer tender offer statement a company filed when it offered to buy back its own securities through a tender offer. In January 2000 the SEC's Regulation M-A combined issuer and third-party tender offer filings into Schedule TO, and issuer offers moved to the SC TO-I submission type.
The remaining 13E-4 records cover the 1990s buyback and exchange offers, including Dutch auction tender offers.
Issuers making tender offers for their own securities, before 2000.
At commencement of the tender offer. Replaced by Schedule TO (SC TO-I) from 2000.
