Form N-SAR was the semi-annual report of registered investment companies, a fixed-format data form covering fund operations. NSAR-AT is the transition period version of the semi-annual (A) report, filed when a fund changed its fiscal year.
The SEC replaced Form N-SAR with Form N-CEN in 2018, and the last NSAR-AT filings date to 2017.
