What is DSTRBRPT?

Multilateral development banks, including the World Bank (IBRD), the Asian Development Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, issue bonds that are exempt from Securities Act registration under the statutes admitting them. They instead file reports with the SEC, and the EDGAR Filer Manual describes DSTRBRPT as the distribution of primary obligations development bank report.

Each report covers a specific bond issue: amount, currency, maturity, coupon and underwriters, so the series is effectively a public record of development bank borrowing in the US market.

Who files

Multilateral development banks such as IBRD, IFC, the Asian Development Bank, EBRD and others.

When it is filed

In connection with each distribution of the bank's primary obligations.
